I’m hard on myself for not being able to control my feelings, as if anyone can, so yeah, I’m humiliated. I’m trying to listen to my heart more, but then it gets me into a situation like this and I can’t let go. My heart is a teenage girl and I need to let my adult brain and gut keep doing the parenting thing.
